In December of 2017, I began my journey in helping students and prospective Nurse Practitioners (NPs) prepare for boards. I started as a private tutor for NP students as a side gig while working in behavioral health as an NP. I quickly realized that teaching has always been my passion. I developed a great rapport with my students and recognized that each individual student can have different learning needs.
As more students passed with my help, I realized that there was a growing demand for tutors in this field. I truly care about my students and I made it my goal to help them pass their boards.
In the spring of 2018, I brought Penny Dyals in to join me in my teaching journey. Ever since, we've been the perfect duo in the NP Board Exam Prep helping thousands of prospective NPs pass both the AANP and ANCC FNP and Adult-Gero Certification Exams.

I've got a lot to teach you.
I am an Educator and a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I am Dual Certified in both the AANP and ANCC. In my entire nursing career, I have worked in various fields (i.e. behavioral health, critical care, home health, and private duty nursing). When I transitioned to my NP role as a provider and clinician, I realized that teaching is what I love to do. There is so much in store for you and we would like to be part of your RN to NP journey. We want you to pass your boards and be a great Nurse Practitoner.
